I slept in this morning, and Wil got up on his own, microwaved himself a hot dog, took Woody outside, then checked the cats’ water dish in the garage and filled it with water from the hose, and got himself dressed.
1 1/2 years ago I wrote a blog about Wil taking Woody on his first walk by himself in our back field and onto the neighboring property that borders the woods, and how terrified I was about him getting lost: All By Himself

I never underestimate Wil, but it is quite amazing how changes happen as time unfolds.
